Guild Rules

1. An attendance rate of at least 75% for a period of 4 weeks is required for you to have dkp bidding privileges. If you do not maintain an attendance rate of 65% in 4 week intervals, you will not win a piece of loot even if you have more dkp than a person with a higher rate of attendance.

2. If a piece of loot is going to be disenchanted it can be looted by a Main for an offspec at 5% price, if no player wants the piece for an Offspec, it can be rewarded to an Alt at 5% price.

3. AFKing and unexpected drops from raid will dock you 10 dkp. If you are AFK for longer than 10 minutes, regardless of the cause be it out of your control or not, you will be docked 2 dkp. If the raid is full, and a replacement is ready, you will lose your raid spot.

If you have to leave a raid early and you did not alert an officer before the raid started, regardless of the cause of you leaving, you will be docked 10 dkp.

If you have to leave the raid early due to an emergency, we are sorry, but regardless of the cause of you leaving, you will be docked 10 dkp. This may seem unfair, but the underlying assumption is that emergencies are rare - over the long term 10 dkp once or twice a month is statistically irrelevant - this blanket rule prevents people from falsely claiming emergency and leaving raids.

4. The officers reserve the right to temporarily declare Priority Gearing for certain individuals (be it for tanks, healers, dps, etc.) his means that during periods of progression raiding, the officers will choose to gear for progression, and if that means we need to gear up our tanks, so be it, if it means we need to gear up a certain player because of a particular role they play in an encounter, so be it. The underlying rationale: get things done first before worrying about loot distribution.

5. In order to receive ALT DKP, you must make Opening Roll Call and Closing Roll Call. Failure to make either roll call will prevent you from earning ALT DKP.

6. If there is an occasion where officers are forced to call a raid because of lack of attendance, all persons who logged on - at the start time and ready to go - will be awarded 10 dkp.The officers reserve the right to change the reward to keep up with inflation, higher level raid instances drop gear worth more dkp points, we will adjust this number to correlate relatively to around 33% of a full current raid's total dkp value.

7. Do not argue with the officers during raid about looting rules, we are busy running the raid, managing loot, managing dkp, managing switch outs, we absolutely will not discuss loot policy during raid.

(Note, this is about looting rules, not about pointing out accidental mistakes about the application of the looting rules. If there is a mistake in the application of the looting rules, please speak up.)

The officers will discuss any disagreements you have with the rules AFTER the raid, if after this post-raid discussion you still are not satisfied with the officers over the ruling, you are free to open it up to referendum on the forums. Make an intelligent post in the petition section, and by intelligent, we mean write it up as a rule that can be easily implemented, is fair to all members, and promotes positive behavior.
